WASHINGTON (WJLA) – Twitter user Anonymous posted a tweet Tuesday evening foreshadowing an issue on Wall Street.
The tweet now looks awfully eerie after the New York Stock Exchange experienced technical difficulties that led to a halt in trading Wednesday.
The official statement posted on the NYSE Twitter feed claims the issue was “an internal technical issue and is not the result of a cyber breach.”
Trading resumed shortly after 3 p.m. Eastern.
